[Sick note] Pausing for 2 weeks due to an eye emergency

I mistakenly used makeup remover as a contact lens solution, which caused some surface-level cornea damage in my left eye. I have more appointments to further determine the damage, and I've been advised to limit screen time for now.

Once I recover, I’d love to write about the NHS system VS China’s medical system. I’m grateful that it’s nothing more serious, and that I received sufficient treatment on a Sunday evening.

For our subscribers and China-curious readers in London, Oliver Pearce and I are planning another meetup on August 22. I’ll be brainstorming the details with my eyes closed.
